EEO Public File ReportOctober 1, 2006 This report is being filed to comply with Federal Communications Commission Rules providing the following information for the period of September 22, 2005 to September 21, 2006 for Station KZZT (FM), Moberly, Missouri. According to Federal Communications Commission EEO rules, this station employment unit is not subject to formal outreach and recruitment requirements as fewer than five full-time persons are employed. Supplemental Outreach Initiatives and ActivitiesA: FM 105, Inc. participated in a scholarship program in conjunction with the International Broadcasters Idea Bank and SESAC which awarded a $7500.00 scholarship award to a college student attending a U.S. College or University who is seeking a degree in Broadcast-Related programs. Some of the programs included degrees in Mass Media, Communication, Journalism, Advertising or Music. B. FM 105, Inc. also participates in the Missouri Broadcasters Association Foundation Internship Program. Selected applicants receive $250.00 for each credit hour, up to a maximum of $1000.00. We assist the MBA Foundation by promoting and distributing brochures and applications. This is a year-around program, however, final recipients are selected three times only, each year. C: FM 105, Inc. has an ongoing program which allows area school students who are interested in the broadcast industry to "shadow" station personnel. Each year we host several students from various schools throughout the listening area and give them a real life perspective of day-to-day operations in a radio station. D: FM 105, Inc. hosted 8 residents of Booneslick Industries, Inc. of Boonville on February 22, 2006 for an occupational "shadow" experience. The residents gained a real life perspective of day-to-day operations in a radio station. The shadow experience was conducted by Shellye Stansel of FM 105, Inc. E: FM 105, Inc. participated in a Career Fair on March 15, 2006 at Marceline R-5 School. During the course of the event, we visited with several dozen students regarding various broadcasting careers. Representing FM 105, Inc. was Jeff Elliott, Group Operations Manager. F: FM 105, Inc. participated in a Career Fair on March 24, 2006 at Brookfield R-3 School. During the course of the event, we visited with four groups of students regarding various broadcasting careers. Representing FM 105, Inc. was Jeff Elliott, Group Operations Manager. G: Continued to air weekly announcements encouraging those who are interested in a broadcast related career to contact us. H: Continued to air weekly announcements encouraging the help of local organizations in referring qualified applicants to our stations. These announcements inform organizations that wish to receive our job vacancy information to contact us.
